MINIATURE UPPSALA

This short animation pays tribute to Nobel Prize winner Svante Pääbo and his academic journey through Uppsala.

A miniature 3D replica of Uppsala is depicted with buildings resembling tiny game pieces. The short film uses virtual tilt-shift camera settings, including a shallow depth of field and large focal length, to emphasize the small scale. It also incorporates subsurface scattering and dust particles for added realism. You can find a YouTube short detailing the process below (SWE).
